Building Cultural Alignment in the Ottawa Diaspora
On May 17th, Diamour hosted a highly anticipated meetup in partnership with Suya Royale in Ottawa. Single Nigerians from across the city gathered to enjoy great food, share experiences, and engage in open discussions about the unique challenges of dating and finding love in the diaspora.
The energy in the room was electric as attendees engaged in deep, honest conversations. Rather than relying on assumptions, these were the six core pillars raised directly by our users as vital to modern dating compatibility: Intention, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Ego, Conversation Simulation, and Intelligent Conversation.

During our interactive feedback session, the community shared a clear desire: to have the daily 10-profile browsing limit removed to enable more exploration. We listened, and we are excited to announce that the limit has now been lifted! Diamour is a culturally motivated platform focused on ensuring that our users' voices are heard and implemented.
